Who we are
Cardboard R Us LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an online trading card shop based in Winter Haven, Florida. We sell trading-card singles, sealed product, and accessories at www.cardboardrus.com. For questions about this policy or your information, email support@cardboardrus.com.
Information we collect
We collect information needed to operate the shop:
- Account email (and name if you provide it) when you create an account or check out
- Order information: items, amounts, shipping or local-pickup details, and order history
- Optional phone number if you (or staff) opt in to SMS alerts. A phone number is not required to browse or place an order
- Buylist / sell-list details you submit
- Messages you send us (for example the contact form or email)
SMS / text messaging
Phone numbers collected for text messaging are used only for operational alerts the recipient opted into. Today that means staff Price Watch inventory alerts configured in the admin panel. We may send customer order-status texts in the future only with that customer’s consent. We do not send promotional or advertising SMS.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Twilio is used only as a delivery processor to send the messages you opted in to receive. Twilio is not given mobile numbers or messaging consent for its own marketing or promotional use.

- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
After STOP we will not text that number unless the recipient opts in again. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage so the site can function: keeping you signed in, remembering your cart and buylist on this device, and storing basic preference or session data. We do not run third-party advertising or marketing-analytics pixels. Our host (Vercel) and security logs may record standard request data such as IP address, browser, and the page requested.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. Stripe may collect payment details under its own privacy policy in order to complete checkout.
How we use information
We use this information to:
- Process and fulfill orders (mail or local pickup)
- Create and support your account
- Send transactional email (order confirmation, shipping, status)
- Send opted-in operational SMS as described above
- Answer support requests and prevent fraud or abuse
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
Vendors process data on our behalf to run the shop. They are not given SMS consent or phone numbers for marketing:
- Stripe — payments and checkout
- Supabase — account and shop data
- Shipping carriers and label providers (for example Shippo / Stamps.com and the carrier that delivers the package)
- Resend — transactional email
- Twilio — delivery of opted-in SMS only (delivery processor)
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the shop, our customers, or others.
Data retention
We keep account and order records as long as needed to fulfill orders, provide support, meet tax and legal duties, and resolve disputes. SMS consent and related logs are kept while you remain opted in and for a reasonable period afterward so we can honor STOP and document consent. You can ask us to update or delete account information by emailing support@cardboardrus.com, subject to records we must keep.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures (including encrypted connections and restricted admin access). No internet transmission is completely secure.
Children
The shop is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact support@cardboardrus.com and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this page from time to time. The last-updated date below will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
